New Member Spotlight: Juan Pablo Gómez

Juan Pablo Gómez has a Ph.D. in Latin American Cultural and Literary Studies...
Juan Pablo Gómez has a Ph.D. in Latin American Cultural and Literary Studies from The Ohio State University and an M.A. in Social Sciences from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO).  He brings extensive academic and pedagogical experience, having served in teaching and research positions as well as in libraries and archives, including the Institute of Nicaraguan and Central American History, at Central American University (IHNCA-UCA) in Managua, and the Association for the Advancement of Social Sciences (AVANCSO) in Guatemala.  As the LAL Research and Instruction Librarian, Juan Pablo will work closely with library colleagues and Latin American, Caribbean, LatinX and Iberian Studies faculty and students to support teaching and research at Tulane.  He will also contribute to collection development, outreach, and much more. Juan Pablo's email is jgomez10@tulane.edu
