The “Global Resources” section is a directory of international business resources with brief descriptive annotations by Global EDGE staff.  One special feature is the Market Potential Indicators study, published annually, which offers information about emerging markets in the global economy. A rich resource, the site also provides “extensive information about global and country-specific trade laws” and serves as a “portal to foreign stock exchanges, standards and conversion information, and much more,” as noted by the Internet Scout.
VIBES, Virtual International Business & Economic Sources (University of North Carolina at Charlotte)
Provides links to Internet sources of international business and economics that are freely available and in English.  Links are organized by category, for example “Agricultural and Forest Products” or “Marketing and Advertising,” and by world region and specific countries.
Latin Focus
“The latest available data from government sources, economic forecasts, market analysis covering economic performance, political risk assessments and financial market developments.” Includes economic indicators (such as GDP, unemployment, etc.), briefings, and forecasts for Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela, as well as some for Latin America as a whole. Also provides recent news articles and a news archive.
