Welcome, New Member: Brie Gettleson

Brie Gettleson...

Brie Gettleson is the Latin American Studies Librarian at the University of Pennsylvania Libraries, serving as the Libraries' liaison to the recently founded Center for Latin American and Latinx Studies. Brie's experience in Latin American scholarship includes her dissertation, “The Desaparecidos of Everyday Life: Militarism and Femicide in Guatemala,” and ongoing collaborative work on a post-custodial digital archive of human rights materials with the Guatemalan human rights organization Grupo de Apoyo Mutuo. She has a PhD in Anthropology from the New School for Social Research and an MSLS from Clarion University.
