Home Resources for Locating & Evaluating Latin American Videos

Purpose

To serve as a meeting point for SALALM members with a particular interest in audio-visual media related to Latin American, Caribbean, Iberian, and Latinx topics.
 

Activities

1. Maintain and update the Audio-Visual Media Wiki as a resource.
2. Provide a forum for the identification of pertinent issues regarding the collection, acquisition and other workflows involved in audio-visual media.
3. Identify potential topics for a panel proposal for the annual SALALM meeting.
4. Engage with colleagues in non-SALALM venues such as professional organizations (i.e., Music Library Association, Association of Moving Image Archivists) and collections with potential content.
