Purposes
To identify, gather, organize, and disseminate information on cataloging and bibliographic technology, instruction, reference services, and audio-visual media in libraries relevant to institutions involved in acquiring and servicing Latin American and Caribbean materials.
Activities
- Coordinates, monitors, and assists the work of its subcommittees and serves as the channel of communication between the Executive Board and the chairs and members of the subcommittees.
- Assists the President in planning programs and activities related to the work of its subcommittees for SALALM conferences.
- Keeps abreast of trends and issues related to the work of its subcommittees.
