Rachel Schneiderman

A strong linguist, Rachel Schneiderman was active in SALALM and at UF Libraries in a number of capacities ; she was a warm and caring person ; a delightful and pleasant individual, Rachel bonded with colleagues quickly, and sincerely ; she loved cycling, and rode her bicycle in Gainesville to and from our campus.

We worked with her on a number of projects, and she was an enthusiastic team member.
I truly admired her solid knowledge of languages and cultures.

This is sad news ; she will be missed.
